Half Life Race X
Feb 20, 2011 - Race-X was compromised of a multitude of alien creatures, mostly somewhat humanoid warriors, seen in Half-Life: Opposing Force.
Born to a world she did not understand and did not understand her, a young girl escapes from an experimentation facility and sets off on a journey to regain her lost memories. Race X could be an infantry of sorts, or just slaves, but judging by their intelligence, we can assume that they have some sort of training (the Shock Trooper's, at least).

They were sent after the Combine noticed massive energy signatures (the death of the Nihilanth) in the universe that we reside in. Race X, with their knowledge of teleportation and portals, are able to create an artificial portal, the first before a multitude of portals emerge on Earth.
Race X then travel to Xen, and investigate there as well, as a small rift that is slowly closing is still open. They discover that the Nihilanth has been killed, along with the Gonarch, and report this to the Combine overlords.
The Combine hear of this, and begin to send in more troops. Interested in the species that did this, the Combine ask Race X if they can terraform the Earth, so that they can have a planet to retreat to in case of an apocalyptic event occurs on their homeworld.
Race X create a portal that will allow the Gene Worm to come to Earth. The Gene Worm is a creature capable of terraforming entire planets, and is the creator of all Shock Trooper's. The reason they want a terraformation of Earth is due to most of the species residing on the Combine overworld are unable to adapt on Earth's biome and atmosphere.
As seen in the events of Opposing Force, Cpl. Adrian Shephard is able to dispose of the Gene Worm, and Race X retreats from Earth, requesting for immediate reinforcements.
After that, Black Mesa is destroyed, Freeman and Shephard are placed in stasis, portal storms erupt on Earth, the Combine invade, and the Seven Hour War begins. The Combine Forces are only able to survive in the atmosphere of Earth for anything shorter than nine hours. After that, they most likely die.
This is just a theory, not what I think Race X should be and is. Discussion is open, and you can all bash my theory. :)

Race X Deuter
- Shocktrooper: Basic infantry of Race-X, Shocktroopers are armed with 'shockroaches', and can spit an explosive substance as a grenade.
- Voltigore: Heavy artillery of Race-X, Voltigores fire beams of purple lightning at their enemies. Their electrical powers are so volatile that Voltigores explode upon death. Baby voltigores do not seem to be fully developed, as they have no electric powers and simply collapse when killed.
