Midhrastic Enb New Vegas
I get no shadow flickering. What I do get is that the SSAO makes the first person arms and gun transparent. That is a problem that has existed with all ENB's, also in Skyrim and it has something to do with the way the game engine renders the first person character model and the way SSAO is calculated. Some lighting settings and SSAO values tend to worsen the effect. The one thing you can do to immediately solve it, is to turn off ambient occlusion (set to false in enbseries.ini), at the cost of some visual splendour, while gaining a fair few FPS to boot. That's your prerogative.
Do remember to refresh the ENB (BACKSPACE) after you change a value while your in-game. And you have to save the file after changing a parameter of course. If you don't do both things, your tweaks won't show up until after a restart (unless you run the game fullscreen and alt-tab out to change a value, then it auto-refreshes when you alt-tab back in). Thanks for the nice words about the images. Of course they are a bit bullshotty because I'm only focusing on what works, and not on the faults. Which there are, as always.

Wow. That's just so nice to hear. Not just for the compliment, which I always cherish, but I love it when a mod can reinvigorate the love for what is essentially a very very good game. I always feel so thankful for the work of real modders, who together succeed in totally changing the way the game works, or who really add something innovative to it.To be awarded similar praise for just tweaking the way the game renders is at once not entirely justified with respect to the work of those others, but at the same time incredibly appreciated. Keeps you going to try and make something that already works pretty okay for myself ready to release to the public. Thanks man.
Midhrastic Enb New Vegas Game

Posted bySorry to ask such an esoteric question, but I've been scouring forums for the last six or seven hours and haven't found jack shit.
So I'm trying to install the Midhrastic ENB: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/18107?tab=files
But when I try to launch the game, it crashes. I've probably re-installed it about three times and every time I try something different, it crashes in a different way. I've tried wrapper, injector, etc. but nothing seems to work. I'm using Windows 10 and just updated it recently. Last I checked, the ENBs for all my other games work fine, but no one seems to know why ENB doesn't work in Fallout 3, under any circumstances.
I'm pretty sure it's the d3d9.dll file, but how do I get around that? I've been going over all the steps to download ENBs (something I've known how to do for years now) for hours on end and the only conclusion I've come to is that Midhrastic simply doesn't work anymore.
If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it.
