SimCity seriesDownload the region or map and unzip it if it is zipped. Usually, you'll see a JPEG and a bitmap file. Locate the My Documents/SimCity/Regions folder on your computer and copy the downloaded, unzipped files into the folder or create a folder inside the Regions folder with the same name as the new region and copy the files into that new folder. Open the 'SimCity4' game. Islandgrad map file - SimCity 4. Download now. This map is,well a map. Actually first one i made. It has a lot of rivers and islands,hence the name. Perfect for your bridging projects. You also have a bunch of craters in the north part,it supposed be a ancient super-volcano.

Does anyone know where I can snag these without having to register someplace? And would it be illegal if I did grab them without registering?
Trying to download some fan made regions but 99% of them require either of these programs to make them work, else you just get a giant unmolested canvas when you load them.

Plokite_Wolf: Do you know where I can download completed regions? I have tried three different tutorials on how to convert the files from SimTropolis into working playable regions and I failed with all of them. :P
Why can we just download something, put it in 'Regions', and start playing?
