Addons for Gold Making
Earning gold is a HUGE part of the game. Having a ton of gold allows you to buy any gear you need straight from the auction house as well as crafting materials and other useful items.
Yes, you can spend your time getting the mats together and crafting these items yourself and probably save a ton of gold in the process but you’ll be burning countless hours producing the goods you want. And as we all know – time is money.
If you want to save yourself the headache of having to get the items you want weeks or even months from now – you need to learn how to play the auction house. Doing so will net you huge gains in a much shorter period of time than crafting.
There are several addons that will help you boost your gold intake. My personal favorite is Dynasty’s Tycoon Gold Addon.
This addon gives you the ability to spot profit opportunities within the auction house by identifying items being sold for cheap. This makes it easy to buy up valuable goods at low prices and then sell them back for a tidy profit. Doing this over and over again means you’ll rack up gold insanely fast. And it’s literally as easy as clicking a few buttons.
The addon scrapes AH listings and shows the best options to go with that’ll net you the biggest and fastest gains. It does so by keeping track of purchase trends and reports the data back to you for digesting. It’s perfect for pinpointing items that can make you a lot of copper, silver, and gold in no time at all.

Addons for Character Leveling
Leveling can be a major pain, especially since Blizzard has raised the level cap multiple times. The cap currently sits at a staggering level 100 and that’s actually going to be raised to 110 once the new expansion, Legion, is released.
There have been a few opportunities to grab character level boosts, but it typically works just once – leaving any alts you create to suffer the pain and agony of grinding for countless hours to reach level 80, 90, 100, and, soon, 110.
The good news, however, is that there are some great addons that can help speed up the process greatly. My personal favorite for this is the Zygor WoW leveling addon. This addon provides an in-game, step-by-step tutorial that explains exactly what to do, what quests to complete, what NPCs to talk to, and more to quickly boost your XP.
The addon comes with starter guides for every race, level 1-100 walkthroughs for every zone for both factions, covers all expansions, and much more. It’s compatible with both PC and Mac installations, too. The UI is beautiful, non-intrusive, and it runs very smoothly.

Well, there are tons of helpful addons dedicated to World of Warcraft’s PvP sector as well. If you’re looking to get the upper hand in any PvP match, be sure to check out the addons mentioned below.
One of my absolute favorite addons for PvP is one called WeakAuras 2. This is actually used heavily by both PvE and PvP players, but I find it particularly useful for PvP. It tracks buffs, debuffs, and such with a graphical interface that makes it easy to determine when buffs/debuffs are active and how long it’ll be before they expire.
This makes it super easy to keep track of your bleeds and more. It allows you to focus more on the whereabouts and movements of your enemies rather than remembering their statuses. There are several other addons that do this exact same thing, but WeakAuras is definitely one of the better ones and I highly recommend it.
If you play arenas a lot then another addon you’ll definitely want to try out is one called Gladius. This one is perfect for nearly all players. It makes monitoring the enemy team insanely easy.
It tracks when enemies use defensives, tracks offensive cooldowns, CCs, and much more. This is all done with a very clear and easy to understand interface. It’s a must-have addon for PvP players that go in arenas often.

Addons for Achievements
Are you an achievement or title-chasing whore? Whether you want one of the dozens of unique titles to affix to your character’s name or you want to boost your reputation so you can purchase awesome items from faction vendors, there are a few addons that can help you do all of this and more.
I personally recommend the Zygor WoW Titles & Achievements addon for this. Just like their leveling addon, this one is a full-featured, in-game guide that shows you exactly what you need to do for each achievement and title step-by-step. The addon makes it ridiculously easy to keep track of achievement progress and explains the fastest, most efficient methods of completing each one.
