How To Sign Out Of The App Store
I am testing in app purchases in XCode simulator. I signed into it using one test account. Now I wanted to test it with another account and it is asking me for the password of first account. How can I completely log out of it. I tried by cleaning (Shift + Command + k, Shift + Command + Option + k) and by removing all folders in ~Library/Application Support/iPhone Simultor/6.1/ Still no use.
The quickest way of finding out is to check Apple's System Status page, which lists problems with all of the company's online services; the App Store is first on the list. Note that if the problem. Thank you so much. I obviously did not look at the menu on top. I am embarrassed but so glad to know what to do.

Please Reset Content and Settings of simulator from top menu and try in again. It will surely sign out from old account.

Since the redesign of the App Store in MacOS Mojave, I can't find the correct place to log out current Apple ID account or switch it.
Can anyone tell me how to do that?

In the Mac App Store Menu bar, go to Store → Sign Out to sign out.
The entry would change to Sign In after successful logout. You can also sign in by clicking on the Sign In button shown towards the bottom left of the Mac App Store window.
